State Route 2018 - Indian Creek Rd Closure
PennDOT will be closing the State Route 2018 - Indian Creek Rd. on April 1st for approximately 140 days. Below is the detour plan from PennDOT. They are replacing the box culvert at the bottom of Indian Falls and Indian Creek Rd. over the Leibert Creek. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Spotted Lanternfly Information
A spotted lanternfly is an invasive insect that is native to Asia and was first discovered in the U.S. in 2014 in Pennsylvania. It belongs to the planthopper family and has a piercing-sucking mouthpart that feeds on sap from over 70 different plants, including some that are economically important. It can stress and damage the plants it feeds on and reduce the quality of life for people in infested areas. It has a distinctive appearance with tan, semi-transparent forewings, black spots, patches of red and black, and a white band and yellow and black abdomen. Welcome To Upper Milford Township
Located in the southernmost portion of Lehigh County, our community includes the villages of Powder Valley, Shimerville, Vera Cruz, Old Zionsville, and Zionsville. The Township is characterized by rolling hills, scenic valleys, and a distinctly rural atmosphere, with historic churches and barns, time-honored homes, active farmland, and long-standing family businesses.
Residents enjoy convenient access to expanded services and shopping along the Route 29/100 corridor. Nearby communities include Emmaus and Macungie, with Allentown and Bethlehem just 15-20 minutes to the north and the Upper Perkiomen Valley 15 minutes to the south. Philadelphia is approximately a 45-minute drive.
Upper Milford Township was the first township organized in 1734 in what is now Lehigh County. According to the 2020 Census, the Township is home to 7,777 residents across 2,971 households.
