Right To Know

Upper Milford Township Upper Milford Township is committed to openness, transparency, and public access to government records. In accordance with Pennsylvania’s Right‑to‑Know Law (Act 3 of 2008), residents may request access to public records maintained by the Township.

The Right‑to‑Know Law ensures that citizens have the right to inspect and obtain copies of public records, except for those protected by law, confidentiality requirements, or public safety considerations.

Submitting a Right‑to‑Know Request
All requests for public records must be submitted in writing and should include enough detail to help the Township identify the records being sought.

Requests may be submitted by:

  • Mail
  • Email
  • In person
  • Fax (if applicable)

The Township will respond to written requests within five business days, as required by state law. Extensions may be invoked when necessary, and the requester will be notified.

Open Records Officer
Upper Milford Township’s designated Open Records Officer receives, tracks, and responds to all Right‑to‑Know requests.
